Marissa and Bobby live in Arizona, but the couple’s desire to get married by the ocean brought them to Occasions in Laguna Beach for their July 8 wedding. The look on Bobby’s face when he first saw Marissa in her dress was just priceless, and I loved watching him watching her. The members of the wedding party were serious troopers, as they patiently trudged down a million stairs to get to the beach, only to have me make them run and then run and then run some more . . . all in the sand. Coordinating wedding details from afar is never easy, but Marissa did a great job bringing everything together, and it really was a lovely wedding. With second shooting by Yoshi Morimoto.
