THE COLOR SHOP
Take your images to another level with the Andrena Color Shop. This workshop is 100% focused on making your images beautiful through advanced finishing techniques. This jam-packed day will show you all the steps and tools that Andrena uses for her retouching and color work (after the JPEGs have been processed), and provide basic instruction in use of lighting and strobes for groups and receptions. This hands-on class will take the mystery out of layers, masking and actions, and will give attendees the skills and comfort level they need to ensure that their images pop and shine. Attendance at each workshop is limited to 20 to ensure people can interact and ask questions. This is not a Lightroom or ACR seminar. This workshop deals with everything that happens after you’ve processed your images in Lightroom or ACR.

THE STARTER SHOP
Just starting in the field of wedding photography? This is the workshop I wish I knew about when I was starting out. The Andrena Starter Shop workshop can save you tons of time, and prevent unnecessary trial and error. The Starter Shop focuses on what new photographers need to know in their first few years of business, and can be tailored to each student’s level of capability. Participants can ask anything and even send us a short list of topics you want us to cover. Full portfolio assessment – and recommendations for improvement — included for each student. Topics will include pricing, marketing, technology and backups, avoiding common mistakes, protection of your business and your client files, standard business requirements, basic recommendations for and use of actions/plugins, album design, sources for supplies and packaging, and a few basic photographic tips (what resonates with brides, composition and light color instruction). We’ll also take you though a simple lighting setup that you can use on your own jobs.
