Living and working in the heart of Los Angeles has enabled us to document bar and bat mitzvahs at many local temples, including the lovely Temple Isaiah. This friendly and welcoming temple fills bar and bat mitzvah celebrations with both tradition and love, taking care to involve the families as much as possible. The cantor and rabbi are focused on teaching yet keep beautiful smiles on their faces as they guide children into adulthood. Located on Pico Boulevard, this temple is just a few miles away from the Andrena Photography studio. We love how this photo of a bat mitzvah girl standing in front of the Temple Isaiah ark imparts a sense of joy and pride as she smiles in front of the torah. This girl's family was filled with joyful laughter throughout her bat mitzvah celebration, and we loved having the opportunity to work with them.
