Misha and Larry’s wedding a the Huntington Beach Hyatt was a charming affair with lots of love and elegant touches. And the damp weather didn’t dampen one bit of this wedding’s beauty. There’s nothing like a rainy day to make a wedding come alive. While few couples get super happy about rain, I have always found that unexpected elements can actually create a warmer and more cozy environment as guests huddle inside and get to know each other. It was so great working with the team at Intertwined Events. They handled every detail beautifully, and weren’t fazed by the rain at all. (In fact, I did another rainy-day wedding a few months later with Intertwined at the helm, and they once again triumphed over the weather to create an amazing event for their couple.) Fayaz at Bloom Box Designs created a lovely ballroom carpeted in cream and decorated in soft pastels, using peach, champagne and pink. A mirrored escort card display in the foyer provided a hint of the elegance that awaited guests in the ballroom. With second shooting by Yoshi Morimoto.
