Menaka and Chris were married in an intimate wedding at The Beach Club<\/a> in Santa Monica. Menaka chose beautiful fuschia and orange flowers to offset the beige of the sand, which gave the entire wedding a beautiful, festive look. This super-arty couple was so arty that they had a friend shoot the entire wedding with a Super 8 camera. Their DJ also spun vinyl the entire evening, and I have to say that even as a former musician and former college DJ, I had never heard most of the songs they played. This still baffles me. Menaka and Chris both got ready at the Oceana Hotel<\/a> in Santa Monica, which is a cool and very private boutique hotel. With coordination by Jennifer Hronek at Joie de Vivre Weddings, florals by The Hidden Garden<\/a>, dance performances by NDM Dance Productions<\/a>, and a custom wedding cake by Zenzi Gadson.<\/p>\n
