As photographers who specialize in corporate events, we know that many things have to be taken into consideration to make your photos work for you, including branding, sponsors, marketing goals, ambiance, appearance of participants, celebrities and notable attendees. Managing all of these things takes experience and skill, as well as the ability to work with crowds. For this photograph of joyful Move for Minds event participants, we took care to position them against the step and repeat, and to ensure that the event's branding was visible by positioning the legs of the people in the front. By coaching the subjects to express joy and enthusiasm, I was able to create an image that expressed happiness, fun and excitement. The organizers were thrilled, as Maria Shriver's Move for Minds event is focused on prevention of Alzheimer's disease. By showing the enthusiastic vitality of the event participants, this image helps other possible attendees know that the event is worthwhile and fun for all ages. The slogan "Train Your Brain, Train Your Body" is also visible on the T-shirts, thus tying in the slogan to the branding of the event. Equinox in West Los Angeles served as host for this event, which was attended by actor Sean Hayes, model Christina Ferrari and Grain Brain author Dr. David Perlmutter.
