Best Engagement Session Photographer Los Angeles
Engagement sessions are a great way for a couple to become more comfortable and confident in front of a camera. They are also a great way for a photographer to get to know their clients, and to see what angles and expressions look best. For this Los Angeles engagement session, I used my photographer powers to make a sparse and uninteresting background look like more than what it was. This is actually a small area of dead trees with sparse leaves that are kind of grayish brown. As the day was foggy, we didn't get the back light that I was hoping for. When shining directly behind living or dead plants, the sun's rays help those plants or leaves to look translucent, which in turn makes them look more colorful. Since we had no sun on this foggy day, we did not have the sparkling leaves I was hoping for, but I was able to add some red and orange in Photoshop, giving the image the appearance of being taken in fall. I actually photographed this groom's sister's wedding six years ago, so I was truly flattered that he remembered me and asked if I would shoot his wedding. His bride is the sweetest thing ever, and I just adore this couple. Engagement session photographed in Los Angeles, California.
