Tattoo Model Photographer Los Angeles Shelly d'Inferno
Being a photographer in Los Angeles gives me the opportunity to work with a wide range of tattooed models. I was delighted when British model Shelly d'Inferno offered to sit for me, and she was a lovely person to work with. Her tattoo artwork is also really beautiful, as it is all done in black without color. The intricacy of the design makes her tattoos look even more unique. For this image, I enhanced Shelly's lavender hair with creative Photoshop. I then changed the background colors from yellow and blue to orange and a more muted blue, as I thought this palette was less distracting and kept the focus on the model. This image was lit with a large softbox in the front and a smaller softbox on the background. Photographed in Los Angeles, California.
