Indoor Indian Wedding Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel Photographer
When thinking about an Indian wedding, the last thing that would ever cross your mind would be rain. But every so often, despite careful planning, an outdoor ceremony has to be moved indoors due to rain. One of the great things about the Rtiz-Carlton Laguna Niguel is that it features numerous indoor ballrooms which can accommodate last-minute ceremony relocations due to unexpected weather. Design genius Shawna Yamamoto created a beautiful and creative yellow and white halo with glass bubbles hanging from its center to grace the yellow mandap, which would have looked spectacular on the green outdoor grass with the blue ocean behind it. Because of the rain, she expertly reconfigured everything indoors, ensuring that the decor still looked as beautiful as intended. I love this Indian wedding ceremony moment where the groom threw huge handfuls of rice and roses on top of his bride's head. By the end of this rice adventure, the entire bowl had been dumped on the bride's head. Or maybe on the groom's head. In any case, both heads of hair were completely covered in rice before their recessional. Indian wedding photographed at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel, Dana Point, California.
