Jewish Wedding Bride and Bridesmaids Beverly Hills Hotel
I love fun photographs of bridesmaids, like this image taken at a Jewish wedding at the Beverly Hills Hotel. I wanted to create an image that included the decor on the Crystal Garden wrought-iron gazebo structure, but once installed, the decor itself is quite high above the heads of the people below. I thus positioned the bride far away from the chuppah area, and positioned her bridesmaids about halfway in between the bride and the chuppah. I then laid down on the ground, and had the bride lean towards me, while I encouraged the bridesmaids to laugh. In this way, I was able to get the chuppah decor and flowers involved in the photograph. The bridesmaids actually wore black, which was a very elegant color. You can actually see this bride's older sister over her left shoulder (camera right). I loved shooting this wedding, as I also photographed this bride's sister's wedding, and I just adore their sweet parents (who were also married at this hotel).
