Persian Jewish Ceremony Century Plaza
Persian Jewish weddings often take place very late at night. This wedding was no exception, with the ceremony starting just after 8 p.m., and the recessional taking place just after 9 p.m. Cocktail parties at Persian weddings often happen before the wedding itself, rather than after. This means that after the Jewish ceremony, the guests usually head straight to the reception rather than to a cocktail party. Family and friends then dance for hours and hours until dinner is served, and at Persian weddings, the dinner is often not served until after midnight (as was the case at this wedding). My clients were such lovely people, and their families were both so sweet and kind. We loved shooting this wedding at the Century Plaza.
